When we say best high protein, we are talking about the bar with the most protein in it.

The list also includes the bar size, flavour and calories in it.

(Obviously the bigger size bars can have more potential protein in it, depending on the manufactures formula.)

Please Note: Some values are approximate. Some companies might round up their numbers. As an example a company might say their bar has 20 grams of protein in it, while it may be actually 19.7 grams of protein in it.

Do protein bars have a lot of protein?

The best quality protein bars do have a lot of protein in them, with bars being over 10 grams of protein or higher per bar. The dedicated muscle building bars might even be around 20 grams of protein or more in them.

Not all bars are equal however. Some are just sugar bars, with a small amount of protein added and then labelled as protein bars.
